Doctor Pleads Guilty in Matthew Perry Death Case!

Mark Chavez, one of two doctors involved in the case surrounding the untimely death of “Friends” star Matthew Perry, pleaded guilty to a drug-related charge this week in a Los Angeles court. The guilty plea, entered on Wednesday, marks a significant development in the case that has captivated fans and the public alike.

Chavez pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, a powerful anesthetic and painkiller, as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors. The drug is believed to have played a key role in the death of Perry, who passed away in October 2023. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy report, Perry, aged 54 at the time of his death, succumbed to the “acute effects” of ketamine, which led to his tragic drowning.
