A former Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer turned journalist is facing intense scrutiny after allegedly leaking classified details about upcoming U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. Just hours before the scheduled raids, he broadcasted the plans to the public, potentially endangering law enforcement officers and allowing illegal immigrants to evade capture.
Pablo Manriquez, once the DNC’s Latino and Hispanic outreach director, posted on social media that ICE had planned to conduct raids in northern Virginia. His post went viral, drawing harsh criticism from conservatives and law enforcement officials who accused him of aiding lawbreakers at the expense of public safety.

Manriquez’s Warning to Illegal Immigrants
On Sunday, Manriquez took to X (formerly Twitter) to sound the alarm, writing, “ICE RAIDS are planned for Monday & Tuesday in Northern Virginia, per multiple sources who tell us ICE has obtained between 75 and 100 judicial warrants.”
Not stopping there, he proceeded to provide detailed warnings, advising illegal immigrants on how to avoid capture. “Judicial warrants mean ICE can go into your homes, so plan accordingly,” he wrote in a follow-up post. Another warned, “Remember that state police have been deputized to help ICE, so highways, etc, are unsafe.”
