DHS Gets Hegseth’s Powerful New Weapon!

The Trump administration is exploring another high-tech option for securing the U.S.-Mexico border, with the Department of War authorizing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to test a controversial military device designed to temporarily incapacitate people through an intense sensation of heat.

The technology, known as the Active Denial System (ADS), uses electromagnetic energy to create a powerful burning sensation on exposed skin. Although the system is classified as nonlethal, its potential role in future border operations is likely to draw attention as the administration continues to emphasize stronger enforcement and improved security along the southern border.

According to a memorandum obtained by CNN, the authorization was signed by Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth. The document permits DHS to temporarily receive and evaluate one of the systems for potential operational use.

The decision comes as federal officials continue to consider new ways to address illegal crossings, confront criminal organizations operating near the border, and protect personnel working in increasingly dangerous conditions.
