So that’s where the bar is now? Toss out the Constitution, embrace chaos, and shout the loudest? Because that’s been Crockett’s brand since day one.
Let’s talk money. Hogg has reportedly pledged a whopping $20 million to challenge older, more moderate Democrats in primary elections. A power move? Maybe. A reckless gamble? Definitely.
“I’ve heard from a lot of members of Congress that have thanked me for doing this,” Hogg claimed. “Even some not so young members of Congress that thank me for doing this and said that this is dramatically needed…”
So in Hogg’s mind, tossing millions at internal party warfare is the key to victory. Not unity. Not real solutions. Just primaries for the sake of progressivism run amok.
Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville didn’t mince words when Hogg unveiled his crusade.
“There ain’t no nuance to it. It’s just flat-out wrong. … That’s money that could be used to beat Republicans to beat Democrats,” Carville fired back.
But Hogg wasn’t convinced. His response? “What is your plan to deal with our abominable approval rating?”
Carville’s answer was simple: “Win elections. Win elections.”
Seems obvious—unless you’re David Hogg.
The woman Hogg is so eager to support isn’t exactly a beacon of unity or common sense. Rep. Jasmine Crockett is best known for saying the quiet parts out loud. And often, she says them in ways that leave even her own colleagues cringing.
Take this gem: while speaking at a church in Connecticut, she said the U.S. needs illegal immigrants because, in her words, “we done picking cotton.”
That wasn’t a one-off, either. In 2025 alone, Crockett has gone after white voters, praised lawlessness, dropped profanities at Elon Musk, and suggested that if Trump had hired more black women, Signal-gate wouldn’t have happened.
This is what Hogg calls “authenticity.”
Let’s connect the dots. A 25-year-old party official with no political wins under his belt is pledging $20 million to promote radicals like Crockett. The goal? Purge the Democratic Party of what little moderate sanity remains.
This is what happens when the inmates take over the asylum. Hogg, armed with activist zeal and a pile of donor cash, is charging full speed ahead into political irrelevance. And Crockett? She’s more than willing to be his mascot of madness.
This isn’t just about Hogg and Crockett. It’s about a party that’s completely lost its way. When vulgar soundbites and radical theatrics are rewarded over substance, it’s no wonder the Democratic Party is tanking in approval ratings.
So to answer the question: Who suffers more from this unholy alliance—Hogg or Crockett?
The answer is yes. Both. But more importantly, so does the Democratic Party.
And frankly, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving pair.
