President Donald Trump had a sharp message for CNN correspondent Kristen Holmes during a tense Oval Office exchange Monday, repeatedly telling the reporter to “be quiet” after she attempted to interrupt him with questions about White House aide Natalie Harp.
The confrontation came as Trump was responding to criticism from Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff, who had taken a jab at the president during a Georgia rally over his relationship with Harp.
Holmes asked Trump about Ossoff’s suggestion that the president was more interested in “build his ballroom and travel with Natalie” than carrying out the responsibilities of the presidency.
