Rep. James Clyburn, a longtime Democrat from South Carolina, is pointing fingers once again—this time at the very media that has coddled his party for decades. In a surprising twist, Clyburn appeared on MSNBC to claim that liberal media bias is actually hurting Democrats and preventing them from spreading their so-called “winning message.” Yes, really.
“I think the message that’s coming from the Democratic Party is a good message. The problem we’ve got, honestly, is that we have to depend upon the media to deliver it,” Clyburn said.

Clyburn, a veteran party insider and frequent MSNBC guest, told the network that Democrats are being ignored or unfairly treated by major media outlets that he believes are more interested in headlines than truth.
“If we have The Washington Post, for instance, caving to this wannabe dictator, and we’ve got other media entities that seem to rather push a narrative that will bring eyes to their newspapers or to their television sets and not really give a fair hearing or reporting to what we’re doing,” he said.
