Just days after Turning Point USA unveiled an eight-foot bronze statue honoring its late founder Charlie Kirk, vandals struck the memorial outside the organization’s headquarters in the Phoenix area.
The attack occurred overnight Saturday into Sunday, according to local authorities. By Sunday morning, the newly installed statue had been covered with red spray paint, including across the face and neck.
The location of the paint was especially striking because Kirk was fatally shot in the neck during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. The statue had been unveiled on September 10, 2026, marking one year since his death.
The damage did not stop with the statue.
