Just weeks after publicly praising political opponents for showing her compassion despite their ideological differences, a prominent pro-choice social media personality drew furious backlash for posting a video mocking murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk on the first anniversary of his assassination.
Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated on Sept. 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University during his “American Comeback Tour.” One year later, disturbing jokes surrounding his death flooded parts of social media, with some users referring to the anniversary as “Kirkiversary.”
Among those attracting attention was Naima, a pro-choice influencer who posts under the handle “hair.soupp.”
