A Massachusetts woman facing two first-degree murder charges in the deaths of her young children tried to convince a judge that she should be released from jail and that the case against her should be tossed.
The judge wasn’t persuaded.
Janette MacAusland, 49, remains behind bars without bail as she awaits prosecution in the deaths of her 7-year-old son, Kai, and 6-year-old daughter, Ella.
