Brutal Election Data: Democrats Left Stunned!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The election analyst emphasized that Walz’s performance in rural areas, which are crucial for a Democratic win, has not been as strong as needed. Kornacki noted, “This is where Democrats have lost ground. And Walz in 2022, he didn’t gain any ground that the Democrats had lost. He didn’t do that here, he didn’t do that in other counties.” According to Kornacki, Walz’s victory margin in the gubernatorial race was largely due to strong support from urban areas, particularly the Twin Cities, rather than success in rural counties.

Kornacki explained that while Walz won his 2022 gubernatorial race by eight points, his success was heavily reliant on urban centers. The analyst warned that this might not translate to the national stage, where broader appeal across rural and suburban areas is crucial.

Reflecting on past elections, Kornacki compared Walz’s performance to that of former President Barack Obama, who managed to secure votes from similar demographics. “And again, I’m showing you one. This is a stand-in for dozens of counties in Minnesota where you saw the same thing with large rural populations, blue-collar white populations, where Obama, and some of them he was winning, others he was holding his own just a dozen years ago,” Kornacki said.

The analyst highlighted that Obama had been successful in maintaining support among rural and blue-collar voters, a demographic that has shifted significantly in recent years. Walz, despite his popularity among progressives, has not shown the same level of effectiveness in these areas, according to Kornacki’s data.

Kornacki concluded his segment by questioning the assumption that Walz would automatically appeal to rural and suburban voters in key battleground states. He stated, “And the idea that he’s got this automatic appeal with these small town areas in those three key battleground states, you don’t see it in what he actually did on the ballot in 2022.” This analysis poses a significant challenge for the Harris-Walz ticket, as gaining traction in these regions is essential for securing electoral victories.

As Democrats gear up for the upcoming election, Kornacki’s analysis serves as a reminder of the complexities involved in appealing to a diverse electorate. While Walz brings certain strengths to the ticket, particularly in urban areas, the challenge will be to expand that appeal to encompass a broader range of voters. The data suggests that Democrats may need to strategize carefully to win over rural and blue-collar populations, who have become increasingly pivotal in recent elections.

  1. Well the dimocrats cant seem to do anything right , Hell they let millions come across the border and that idiot Joe Biden for some unknown reason seemed to want to make the people commig across the border indebted to him for thier good fortune ! Lets face it Biden was not a good man in fact the old prevert used to take showers with his grandaughter ! I am not casting expersions , but the fact remains that when the little girls diary was found to have been sold at auction the whole Biden family went a little crazy trying to locate it before it became public ! I am not pointing a finger at anyone but ,it just seemed a little weird that a decriped old man like that seemed to get so much pleasure fondeling young girls at every chance he could get . It sort of makes me sick to think that a person that had so much power bestowed on him would creap aroung assulting young girls in public like he did ! I think he is a disgrace to our nation and the powers that be should have put some kind of restraints on him because he was ans still is a disgrace to our nation !!
