In a stunning development, Stephen Miller’s America First Legal (AFL) is taking on one of the most powerful figures in America: Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr.
AFL has filed a major lawsuit against Roberts, in his role as Presiding Officer of the Judicial Conference of the United States, as well as Robert J. Conrad, Director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.
The lawsuit accuses Roberts and Conrad of running what AFL blasts as an “unconstitutional shadow agency” and claims they’ve been operating in direct violation of federal transparency laws.

Filed on April 22, the complaint targets both the Judicial Conference and its administrative arm, both of which fall under Roberts’ leadership. AFL argues that these institutions have morphed into rogue “executive agencies” — and they’ve teamed up with far-left politicians to wage political warfare against conservative Supreme Court justices.
