Los Angeles is in crisis. After over a week of unrelenting chaos sparked by President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration, the city looks more like a war zone than a functioning part of the United States. As radical leftists ignite fires and attack federal officers, U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli just sent a message that’s shaking the entire progressive movement to its core.
Trump’s ICE Raids Set Off Explosive Riots
President Trump followed through on his promise to restore law and order with aggressive ICE raids in Los Angeles. On June 6, federal agents descended on the Fashion District, a clothing wholesaler, and a Westlake Home Depot, executing immigration enforcement operations. These raids resulted in 44 arrests for immigration violations and one for obstruction.
This show of force didn’t sit well with the radical Left.
By midday, mobs descended on the streets of L.A. Protests quickly spiraled into violent melees. Rioters hurled concrete chunks at law enforcement and torched vehicles. Police responded with tear gas and flash-bangs in a desperate bid to restore control.
