“Bill Barr was like, we should bring RICO because it’s a very difficult type of charge to defend,” Lélis told Project Veritas.
Texts, Emails, and Secret Strategy Meetings
According to Project Veritas, Lélis provided handwritten notes, photographs, and other documentation from 2021 through 2023. These materials allegedly prove she attended dozens of private meetings where Barr and his allies discussed legal tactics to target Trump and his supporters.
She claims one of those meetings, on September 13, 2021, included herself, Armstrong Williams, CNN commentator Shermichael Singleton, and Barr. The focus, she says, was on how the newly formed January 6th Committee could be used against Trump-world.
In her notes from that meeting, Lélis recorded Barr outlining specific targets: Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Stewart Rhodes, Enrique Tarrio, Jeffrey Clark, the Oath Keepers, and the Proud Boys.
“The investigation will be focused on people close to Trump and make efforts to formally prosecute these people,” she wrote.
Many of those same individuals would later be subpoenaed by the January 6 Committee or face criminal charges — just as Barr allegedly suggested.

Connections to Fani Willis and Jack Smith
Lélis’ notes also point to coordination between Barr, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, and Special Counsel Jack Smith. Project Veritas says photographs dated March 15, 2022, show Barr with Armstrong Williams at the headquarters of Sinclair Broadcast Group. Notes from that meeting allegedly reveal discussions about prosecutions in Florida, Georgia, and New York.
Even more alarming — Lélis claims Barr predicted an FBI raid on Trump’s home was imminent.
She wrote that Barr said a raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate would happen “soon.”
Five months later, the FBI stormed Mar-a-Lago.
A Chilling Glimpse Behind the Curtain
If Lélis’ claims are accurate, they offer a rare look at how political power can be weaponized against a former president. These aren’t just accusations about political bias — they suggest a coordinated, multi-state legal assault on Trump and his allies, allegedly steered by a former Attorney General of the United States.
Project Veritas says it will continue to release more material from Lélis’ files in the coming days. If the rest of her evidence matches the gravity of her claims, this could be one of the most significant whistleblower cases in recent political history.
For now, one thing is certain — the fight over Trump’s political future is far from over, and the forces working against him may have gone much deeper than anyone imagined.
