The Biden Justice Department has now set its sights on one of its own political allies – New York Attorney General Letitia James – hitting her with not one, but two federal subpoenas, according to a bombshell report from The New York Times.
Sources say one subpoena is connected to her controversial civil fraud case against President Donald Trump – a case that critics argue was a political hit job from the start. The other subpoena reportedly involves her years-long crusade against the National Rifle Association.
ABC News, citing “multiple sources,” reported that both subpoenas were issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Albany.
This development comes years after James openly vowed to take down Trump before she even stepped into office. During her 2018 campaign for attorney general, she made no secret of her intentions.
