It’s not a political talking point. It’s arithmetic that reflects a national security emergency.
As jaw-dropping as those arrest figures are, Homan wasn’t done. He delivered a second number that should terrify every American parent, student, and worker.
“There are over 600,000 illegal aliens in this nation with criminal histories walking the streets,” Homan stated. “We need to find them quickly.”²
Let that settle in.
That’s 600,000 individuals who have already committed crimes—either in the U.S. or in their home countries—and are now walking freely in our communities.
These aren’t families seeking a better life. These are criminals released under Biden’s “catch and release” free-for-all, now blending into neighborhoods across the country.
Thankfully, President Trump is already taking action to restore sanity and security. His new immigration bill includes a historic surge in resources for ICE.
“As far as ICE, it’s a huge plus-up—10,000 more officers,” Homan explained.³
For years, ICE was left overwhelmed and underfunded, even as the border spiraled out of control. While Border Patrol manned the frontlines, ICE was tasked with locating and removing illegals already in the country—with barely enough manpower to scrape by.
“I’ve been doing this since 1984. Border Patrol has been plussed-up many times… But when people want to arrest somebody… then they go into an immigration hearing… That’s all ICE’s job.”⁴
ICE is the backbone of interior enforcement. And now, for the first time in decades, they’re finally getting the tools they need to do the job right.
As usual, the Left is already howling about Trump’s deportation plans being “too aggressive.” But Homan isn’t having it.
“For those who say 3,000 a day is too much, I want to remind them—do the math,” Homan said.⁵
He’s right. At 7,000 arrests per day, the math adds up to over 2.5 million removals per year—just to undo the damage Biden caused.
And that’s not even accounting for the continued wave of illegals pouring across under Biden’s policies, or the hundreds of thousands of fugitives already inside the U.S. who’ve evaded authorities for years.
Let’s not forget how we got here.
Biden halted construction of the border wall. He dismantled the “Remain in Mexico” policy. He handed out court dates on napkins and released hundreds of thousands into American cities—most of whom never showed up for immigration hearings.
Now those same Democrats who created the chaos are complaining that Trump is being “too tough.”
They had their chance to fix it—and they lit the whole system on fire.
President Trump’s bold move to deploy 10,000 new ICE agents isn’t just a policy shift—it’s a lifeline for a nation under siege.
“It’s going to put more boots on the ground, which we need right now,” Homan said.⁶
Every new officer means one more criminal off the streets. One more family safeguarded from a violent offender. One more illegal predator stopped from harming innocent Americans.
This isn’t about politics—it’s about safety, sovereignty, and restoring order.
Homan’s numbers don’t lie. The scale of Biden’s immigration failure is unlike anything this country has ever seen.
