“We talk a lot about the Republicans being autocrats and oligarchs and taking over democracy. But from the Democrat perspective — and I’m a lifelong Democrat — I felt like the Democratic party completely removed the democratic process from its constituents. And I think they need to have some accountability for that,” Schulz said.

The Skeletons Come Out: Clinton, Brazile, and the DNC
Schulz, like many former Bernie supporters, revisited 2016 with visible frustration, calling out how the DNC undermined Sanders to crown Hillary Clinton as the nominee.
“I wanted you,” Schulz told Sanders. “In 2016 I was like, this is going to happen! This guy’s going to do it! And it felt like—they stole it from me. I’ll be honest, it broke my heart when you supported him.”

But once Joe Biden claimed victory in South Carolina, the Democrat machine sprang into action. In 2024, the corruption got even worse. Biden refused to debate, filed lawsuits to block primary challengers, and made sure no real competition emerged. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ultimately bolted from the party, endorsing Trump.
Then, when Biden dropped out of the race, Kamala Harris was crowned the nominee without a single vote cast in her name. It was all decided by the same elite cabal behind the curtains.

“Could we not also say, if ostensibly there hasn’t been a fair primary for the Democrats since 2008, are the Democrats also a threat to democracy?” he asked.
