AZ Voters Deliver Huge Trump Win!

Trump had expressed strong support for Biggs long before the primary concluded, praising him as a proven conservative fighter. While endorsing Biggs and another candidate earlier in the race, Trump declared:

“Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions, and it is therefore my Great Honor TO GIVE MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT TO BOTH.”

The president later highlighted Biggs’ leadership and conservative credentials during a campaign stop in Phoenix.

“I hate to lose him from Congress… but he’ll be a great governor.”

Biggs built his campaign around several issues that continue to resonate deeply with Arizona voters, including tax relief, stronger border enforcement, public safety, and reducing government intrusion into everyday life. His commanding primary performance further strengthens Trump’s remarkable record of backing successful Republican candidates in statewide Arizona races.

The victories extended well beyond the governor’s race.

In Arizona’s open 1st Congressional District, former NFL kicker and sports commentator Jay Feely secured the Republican nomination after receiving Trump’s backing. The seat became available following the departure of Rep. David Schweikert and is expected to be one of the most closely contested congressional races in the state.

Feely campaigned as an America First conservative focused on securing the border, expanding economic opportunity, and defending Arizona families from the effects of inflation and government overreach. He now advances to a general election showdown against Democrat Amish Shah in a district that includes Scottsdale and portions of northeastern Maricopa County.

Trump enthusiastically endorsed Feely during the primary battle, writing in a Truth Social post:

“Two Highly Respected America First Patriots”

He also added:

“JAY OR GINA WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

Meanwhile, another major victory came in Arizona’s 5th Congressional District, where former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb captured the Republican nomination for the seat Biggs is vacating.

Lamb has built a national reputation among conservatives for his outspoken support of law enforcement and his hardline approach to border security. Throughout the campaign, he emphasized reducing regulations, lowering taxes, supporting military families, and expanding American energy production.

Trump offered an enthusiastic endorsement of Lamb, calling him a key ally in the America First movement.

“It is my Great Honor to endorse MAGA Warrior Mark Lamb… Mark Lamb has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Congressman from Arizona’s 5th Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

In another important race, Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani advanced without opposition in Arizona’s competitive 6th Congressional District, ensuring that conservatives will continue to have a strong candidate defending one of the state’s most closely watched seats.

Trump’s support was not limited to those contests. He also threw his backing behind several established Arizona Republicans, including Reps. Eli Crane, Paul Gosar, and Abe Hamadeh. The endorsements underscored a growing sense of unity among Arizona Republicans heading into the final stretch before the midterm elections.

On the Democratic side, Governor Katie Hobbs easily secured renomination, while several House incumbents faced challenges from progressive activists seeking to pull the party further left.

One notable contest saw Rep. Greg Stanton fend off a challenge from a progressive opponent in Arizona’s 4th Congressional District, avoiding what could have been a significant upset for Democrats.

For Republicans, however, Tuesday’s results painted a picture of party cohesion and momentum. Voters rallied behind candidates who embraced core conservative priorities such as border security, economic growth, election integrity, and limited government.

Those issues remain especially important in Arizona, a state that continues to sit at the center of the nation’s border crisis and political battles over federal policy.

With roughly 100 days remaining before voters head to the polls, Republicans believe the primary results provide an early sign of strength in one of America’s most important battleground states.

If Biggs succeeds in November, Republicans would reclaim Arizona’s governor’s mansion after Hobbs’ narrow victory in 2022. Combined with competitive congressional races across the state, Tuesday’s results suggest that Arizona could once again play a pivotal role in determining the balance of power in Washington.

For Trump and the America First movement, the message from Arizona Republicans was unmistakable: the president’s influence remains powerful, and voters continue to rally behind candidates who champion his agenda.
