A disturbing security incident unfolded at President Donald Trump’s California golf club just days before his scheduled appearance, after authorities arrested a 38-year-old man who was allegedly photographing security preparations while carrying ammunition and reportedly had a loaded firearm nearby.
Jeanine John Taele of Downey, California, was arrested Sunday, August 2, at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes. According to federal authorities, the arrest came after Taele was observed moving around the property, taking photographs and recording video while appearing to monitor preparations for the president’s upcoming visit.
The timing immediately raised concerns among law enforcement. Federal agents had already been conducting a security assessment at the golf course ahead of Trump’s August 4 appearance for a Republican National Committee event.
