With just over a week on the job, Bondi has yet to face a major gun rights challenge, but she wasted no time tackling another urgent issue: the Biden administration’s weaponization of the justice system. Her first move signaled that she is fully aligned with Trump’s mission to expose corruption in the legal system.
Bondi’s first major directive created a special investigative group focused on exposing politically motivated legal attacks against Trump. The order called for an in-depth probe into the “weaponization by Special Counsel Jack Smith and his staff, who spent more than $50 million targeting President Trump, and the prosecutors and law enforcement personnel who participated in the unprecedented raid on President Trump’s home.”
Additionally, Bondi’s team will be looking into whether Bragg coordinated with the Biden Justice Department to bring politically motivated charges against Trump in the Manhattan trial. The probe will also examine New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil fraud case against Trump, which critics have slammed as a blatant attempt to bankrupt the former president.
Bondi’s order specifically mandates a review of “Federal cooperation with the weaponization by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, New York Attorney General Letitia James, their respective staffs, and other New York officials to target President Trump, his family, and his businesses.”
Beyond Trump’s personal legal battles, Bondi’s initiative will also dig into the unethical prosecutions of January 6 defendants. She wants answers about whether federal prosecutors overstepped their authority by using discredited legal theories to charge Trump supporters unfairly.
Bondi is also scrutinizing how federal agencies allocated resources. The FBI dedicated 5,000 employees to investigating January 6, raising questions about whether this focus came at the expense of addressing violent crime in Washington, D.C. As Bondi’s order states, the working group will examine how these prosecutions “diverted resources from combatting violent and serious crime and thus, were pursued at the expense of the safety of residents of the District of Columbia.”
Bondi’s order doesn’t stop there. Her working group will also investigate the Biden Justice Department’s broader pattern of targeting conservatives and religious Americans.
One key focus will be the controversial January 23, 2023, FBI memo that suggested certain Catholic religious practices were tied to violent extremism. Many saw this as a direct attack on religious freedom. Bondi’s team will also review “prior Justice Department guidance, policy memoranda, and practices concerning the investigation of parents of school children who expressed sincere, good-faith concerns at local government meetings, including the October 4, 2021 memorandum of former Attorney General Merrick Garland regarding these issues.”
Just Released: Trump White House Collector’s Bobblehead!
Bondi’s opening move as Attorney General has set the stage for a dramatic showdown between Trump’s administration and the entrenched political forces that have weaponized the legal system. With investigations now underway, figures like Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and Jack Smith may soon find themselves under the microscope.
While her appointment initially raised concerns, Bondi’s swift and decisive action signals that she is committed to Trump’s vision of restoring fairness to the justice system. As 2025 unfolds, these investigations could have major political and legal ramifications—especially for those who used the courts as a tool for political warfare.

i hope Bondi lock’s them all up for election interference
