House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has raised alarm over a disturbing incident involving a FEMA contractor allegedly pressuring a disabled veteran’s family in Georgia to remove pro-Trump materials from their home. According to Comer, the contractor insinuated that FEMA supervisors viewed Trump supporters as “domestic terrorists,” prompting serious concerns over political discrimination within the federal disaster relief efforts.
The shocking details emerged after a whistleblower reached out to Comer’s office, claiming the incident took place in early October. The elderly homeowners, fearful that refusing the contractor’s demands would endanger their chances of receiving critical disaster aid, removed the signs. Despite their compliance, Comer noted that FEMA never returned to assist the family.
Get rid of [painful inflammation] today…thank me later?
“The elderly homeowners were so frightened by this and afraid that they would not recover their loss that they removed the signs,” Comer shared on X (formerly Twitter). “Nevertheless, FEMA has not returned to their residence. This took place not in Florida, but Georgia.”
