Mail-In Ballots Scandal Hits USPS!

Morgan’s story didn’t end there. According to Shaffer, Morgan, who risked coming forward, faced swift scrutiny. The FBI reportedly questioned him aggressively, accusing him of fabricating the story and suggesting he was financially motivated. Morgan was also allegedly harassed at his home by FBI agents. Despite his attempts to raise his concerns, his claims were ultimately dismissed. For many, the official reaction to Morgan’s story further fueled skepticism about the transparency of the 2020 election process.

Shaffer suggested Morgan should receive whistleblower status to protect him from retaliation, but his attempts were allegedly blocked by Barr. This led Shaffer and other critics to wonder why authorities were unwilling to support Morgan if his claims held weight. Questions persisted about the legitimacy of the 2020 election results and the handling of the investigation into potential voter fraud. Former Trump adviser Jeffrey Clark, currently with the Center for Renewing America, echoed this sentiment. He disclosed that the organization filed FOIA requests across 12 U.S. Attorney districts in battleground states to assess any investigation into these claims. Yet, only one district had a pending response, with the rest confirming no documents existed to show that investigations had been conducted. Clark argued this raised serious doubts about the thoroughness of the inquiries.

Amber McReynolds, who sits on the USPS Board of Governors, has also come under scrutiny. Nominated by the Biden administration, McReynolds’ organization, the National Vote at Home Institute, reportedly aims to reshape voting practices nationwide, advocating for expanded mail-in voting. The Capital Research Center, a watchdog group, has documented potential ties between McReynolds’ organization and CTCL, which received funding from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. McReynolds’ rise in influence within the USPS, coupled with her advocacy for mail-in voting, has drawn criticism from some who argue the USPS should remain neutral in election administration.

McReynolds, along with other progressive groups, has sought to unseat USPS head Louis DeJoy, a Trump appointee whom they allege slowed down ballot delivery in 2020. Demos, a left-leaning think tank, lobbied the Biden administration to allow federal agencies to promote voter registration, which McReynolds and her allies support. Critics worry that these efforts could tilt the USPS toward favoring one political side in future elections.

With the 2024 election approaching, USPS announced “extraordinary measures” to handle ballot distribution, yet details remain vague. Observers fear that without clear transparency, potential issues may mirror those raised in 2020. Some cite past allegations by former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani as a precedent. Giuliani noted discrepancies in mail-in ballot totals in Pennsylvania, pointing out what he considered an unusual gap between the number of mail-in ballots issued and the number counted. “You have two major gaps… the 672,770 votes that were not inspected by anyone secretly put into the ballot box, and then you have this gap… you’ve sent out: 1.8 million, and the number you counted: 2.5 million!” Giuliani said.

For those skeptical of the official stance on election integrity, these unresolved questions remain deeply concerning. Some have raised alarms about foreign interference or even potential ballot tampering from overseas. Concerns persist, especially with the focus now on vote-by-mail systems and accusations of partisanship within the USPS. Critics argue that comprehensive reform is essential for Americans to trust their electoral processes fully.

As the nation edges closer to another critical election, transparency in handling ballots will likely remain under the microscope. The conversation surrounding vote-by-mail and the USPS will continue, with some Americans determined to hold officials accountable and demand clarity in the electoral process. Whether the unanswered questions from 2020 will ever be fully resolved remains to be seen.
