With his controversial prediction that if former President Trump does not win reelection in 2024, America may be in for an unknown future, Rivera has stirred up controversy once again. Following a barrage of criticism in response to his statement, many people are now wondering what will happen to the Fox News contributor’s career.
“Donald Trump was a grossly underrated and unfairly besieged president. I will not vote for him in 2024-not because of what he did in office-but what he did after he lost the election. In 2024 the danger to the Republic will not be if he wins. It will be if he loses,” Rivera tweeted.

Social media users were outraged by Rivera’s remarks, leading to demands for his firing.
“America’s comeback starts right now.” At Mar-a-Lago in November, President Trump made history by announcing his intention to run for reelection. He submitted official papers in front of a cheering audience and promised to once again protect American interests.
Speculations about Donald Trump’s choice for the vice presidency have been rife as he officially launches his campaign. A trusted advisor has predicted that an exciting decision might be made soon “from three general lanes of candidates: women, conservatives of color, or a trusted adviser.”
According to a former top adviser to the previous president, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is putting herself in a position to be a key component in Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign for president.
Steve Bannon, presenter of the “War Room” podcast, said this week in an interview with NBC News: “This is no shrinking violet, she’s ambitious — she’s not shy about that, nor should she be. … She sees herself on the shortlist for Trump’s VP.”
When Greene “looks in the mirror, she sees a potential president smiling back,” Bannon continued.

Greene’s advice from a second source said that her “whole vision is to be vice president.” According to a source with close connections to the previous president Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene would be at the top of his short list of candidates.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has made it her aim to reinvent herself as a politician who can bridge the gap between the more conservative members of her party and the party’s conventional elite.
“She’s both strategic and disciplined — she made a power move, knowing it would run up hard against her most ardent crew,” Bannon added. “She was prepared to take the intense heat/hatred short-term for the long-term goal of being a player.”
Further highlighted by NBC News “Her push for McCarthy alienated some of her allies in the House Freedom Caucus and like-minded conservative activists, but that was a calculated risk, according to Bannon. Trump has not publicly given any indication that he is seriously considering a vice-presidential pick at this early point in the process, and aides did not respond to NBC News’ inquiries about Greene’s chances of ending up on a Trump ticket.”
Regarding President Trump’s likely choice for vice president, Greene’s name has popped up often in rumors.
When he revealed on MSNBC in October that Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was thinking about running for president in 2021, Robert Draper of the New York Times Magazine ignited rumors.
“To be fair, it’s very likely that Trump has had this conversation with half a dozen other people too,” He explained to interviewer Ali Velshi that Greene could, nevertheless, possess a quality that other GOP women lack.
“What Greene possesses that Trump so craves is loyalty. She has always been there for Trump. She has always had his back and after his experience with his last running mate, Mike Pence, it’s clear that he’s going to prize loyalty above all else, so I wouldn’t count it out,” he said.
Draper spoke with The Daily Beast’s “New Abnormal” podcast previously, he said “that Greene had risen quickly in her first term in Congress by using the same tactics she honed as a right-wing social media influencer harassing Democratic staffers, and she could shoot to the second-highest office in government,” Raw Story reported.
According to former adviser Cliff Draper, President Trump has been considering appointing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene as his vice president since February.
“[Trump] has every reason to expect that Greene would be by his side and would be his proximate warrior” Draper said that this was through thick and thin.
