The Washington Post has come under criticism for labeling reporters who covered the Twitter Files story as “conservative.” This labeling has caused a great deal of controversy and is still being criticized by members of the media.

Renowned author Walter Kirn recognized the value of independent journalism in a piece on Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss that has now received hundreds of shares.

“As head of trust and safety at Twitter, [Yoel] Roth was involved in many of the platform’s decisions about what posts to remove and what accounts to suspend. His communications with other Twitter officials have been posted in recent days as part of what Musk calls the Twitter Files, a series of tweets by conservative journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss,” Monday’s Post carried a story.

Tweeted journalist Glenn Greenwald, “The editorial policy of The Washington Post and many Brooklyn-based liberal digital sites is to falsely label people as ‘right-wing’ as some weird punishment for deviating from liberal orthodoxy. All this term really means is: ‘one who sometimes rejects Dem Party orthodoxy.’”

According to the Chicks on the Right Twitter account, “OF COURSE the [Washington Post] is framing the narrative incorrectly. OF COURSE they are. It wouldn’t be WaPo if they didn’t.”

According to a tweet, “LIES LIES AND MORE LIES, [Matt Taibbi], and [Bari Weiss] are classic liberals! I guess that doesn’t fit the narrative [Washington Post].”

The Washington Post updated its article and removed any references to “conservatives” in response to a query from Fox News.

Without verifying correctness, the source first published an error, but no editor’s comment or correction was made.

When responding to the report, Taibbi had a humorous take, addressing Fox News with a succinct but clear reply that expressed his feelings.

He added, “Anyone who steps out of line in any way is labeled conservative or pro-Trump now. It’s automatic and predictable.”

Elon Musk, the well-known Twitter CEO and successful businessman, has made a significant announcement: he is starting a brand-new company! This revelation, involving one of Silicon Valley’s most well-known people, has sparked a great deal of interest in what lies next. “Twitter Files on free speech suppression.”

He went on, “The public deserves to know what really happened.”
