A shocking murder case that has gripped Britain took another disturbing turn this week as prosecutors revealed chilling details about the death of former Conservative politician Ann Widdecombe.
During a court appearance in London on Tuesday, prosecutors alleged that Widdecombe was struck in the head with a hammer 21 times while eating lunch inside her countryside home. The allegations were presented as 28-year-old Joshua Kerry appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court facing a murder charge.
The brutal killing has sent shockwaves through Britain’s political establishment and renewed concerns about the growing threat of violence against public figures.
