Actor Dennis Quaid did not deliver a lengthy political speech. He did not release a carefully crafted statement. Instead, during a brief exchange with reporters, he offered a simple endorsement that is now generating headlines across Los Angeles.
Speaking with Fox News during the Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards Gala on May 23, Quaid was asked about celebrity Spencer Pratt’s campaign for mayor. His response was short and direct.
“Go Spencer Pratt.”
When reporters followed up and asked why he supported Pratt, Quaid’s answer was even more striking.
