FBI Power Play Backfires BADLY

The Biden administration’s use of federal law enforcement powers is once again under scrutiny after revelations that the FBI secretly obtained the phone records of two prominent Trump allies while they were private citizens. Newly confirmed reports show that the records of Kash Patel and Susie Wiles were subpoenaed in 2022 and 2023 during investigations led by Special Counsel Jack Smith, raising serious concerns about political targeting and abuse of authority.

At the center of the controversy is Joe Biden’s FBI, which reportedly accessed the communications data of Patel and Wiles as part of a sweeping probe tied to former President Donald Trump. The investigation focused on classified documents that Trump had lawfully stored at Mar-a-Lago, a property protected around the clock by the United States Secret Service.

Patel, who now serves as FBI director, reacted forcefully after learning his personal phone data had been quietly swept up by the bureau he now leads. In a statement to Fox News, Patel blasted the conduct of prior FBI leadership and accused them of deliberately concealing the subpoenas from oversight authorities.

“It is outrageous and deeply alarming that the previous FBI leadership secretly subpoenaed my own phone records — along with those of now White House chief of staff Susie Wiles — using flimsy pretexts and burying the entire process in prohibited case files designed to evade all oversight,” Kash Patel said to Fox News.
