Former Turning Point USA lieutenant, BLEXIT Foundation co-founder, and prominent conservative commentator Candace Owens pulled back the curtain this week on what she described as a long-overdue and tense private meeting with Turning Point USA leadership, including CEO Erika Kirk, the widow of the late Charlie Kirk. The revelations came during a recent episode of The Candace Podcast, where Owens addressed weeks of speculation, backlash, and mounting controversy surrounding her public skepticism of the official narrative surrounding Kirk’s assassination.
Owens opened the episode in characteristically provocative fashion, greeting listeners with “Shabbat Shalom” and “Happy Hanukkah,” before launching into what many took as intentional trolling. She declared, “Tucker Carlson is Adolf Hitler, and TikTok does need to be purchased by the Mossad,” a remark that immediately set the tone for a no-holds-barred discussion aimed at mocking her most extreme critics.
Responding to online speculation that she had been “silenced” or “turned” after her meeting with Turning Point leadership, Owens pushed back forcefully. “Okay, you guys are crazy. You guys are absolutely crazy. The amount of people who attacked me for sending out a tweet being like, ‘Hey, I’m good, I’m alive, we had a very productive conversation,’ and they were like, ‘She got the call. She got the call. She’s betrayed us. She’s doing something else. I can’t believe it. This has all just been a show,’” Owens said. She continued sarcastically, “Calm down. Okay. What do you think happened? Erica said, ‘Stop.’ And then I was frozen for four and a half, four hours and 30 minutes, just like as I just put all of these talking points into my head?”
