NBC’s Manufactured Outrage Story
NBC ran with a sensational headline designed to make Trump’s immigration enforcement look cruel and heartless:
“ICE held 5-year-old autistic girl in Massachusetts to pressure father to surrender, family says.”
The story painted ICE agents as villains targeting a disabled child to punish her father. Predictably, Democrat politicians pounced, comparing ICE to “slave patrols” and the “modern-day Gestapo.”
But there was just one problem: none of it was true.
