At the same time, Rahman personally collects more than $300,000 a year in salary, while her organization pulled in $140 million in revenue last year.
It doesn’t stop there. The Vera Institute has been bankrolled by the Open Society Foundations of George Soros, along with the Rockefeller Foundation, the Tides Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and billionaire MacKenzie Scott. These are the same players behind the “defund the police” movement that left American cities less safe.
Vera Institute’s Radical Agenda Exposed
The Vera Institute’s position on law enforcement has been clear for years. In the middle of the 2020 anti-police riots, the group issued a statement demanding the dismantling of “the current culture of policing in the United States.”
They openly declared their commitment to “building on this unique moment of public awareness, outrage, and calls to defund the police.”
So when Rahman dismisses migrant crime as unimportant, she’s speaking from the perspective of an organization that wants to weaken law enforcement at its core. The result? More chaos in the streets while American families suffer.
