Hollywood’s radical Left has been waging a relentless smear campaign against actress Sydney Sweeney for months.
But now, President Donald Trump has stepped into the picture — and with one comment, he’s turned their attacks into a political nightmare.
During a brief exchange with reporters, Trump was informed that the Euphoria star is a registered Republican. His reaction was instant and unapologetic.
“She’s a registered Republican?” Trump said. “Oh, now I love her ad.”
The President continued, “You’d be surprised at how many people are Republicans. That’s what I wouldn’t have known, but I’m glad you told me that. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic.”
Those few words from Trump have now placed Democrats in a tough position — attack her and risk looking petty, or back off and disappoint their activist base.
