FBI Just Wrecked Antifa With This Move

That arrest brings the total to 15 suspects taken into custody—individuals prosecutors are labeling domestic terrorists. These weren’t activists with signs and slogans. They were armed militants with tactical gear, carrying out a military-style ambush on law enforcement.

A Chilling Assault on America’s Birthday

Authorities say Song and his Antifa-linked cell used encrypted messaging apps, detailed recon photos, and military-style coordination to lay siege to the ICE facility. They chose July 4th—symbolically the nation’s birthday—to carry out the attack.

The suspects reportedly used fireworks and vandalism as a distraction, spray-painted patrol cars, and deliberately drew officers out of safety. That’s when the trap was sprung.

Song allegedly shot a responding Alvarado police officer in the neck after lying in wait in the woods. That officer survived, by the grace of God. Meanwhile, another suspect opened fire with an AR-15 on unarmed correctional officers across the street, but the gun jammed—preventing what could’ve been a massacre.

From Marine to Radicalized Terrorist

Song once wore a Marine Corps uniform. He served from 2011 to 2016, but was booted with an “other than honorable discharge” for misconduct. That’s when his descent into extremism accelerated.

He later joined the Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club—a militant group with a reputation for aggressive tactics. In 2023, Song was named in a lawsuit accusing him of attacking Christian protesters at a drag show in Fort Worth.

In 2020, he was arrested during riots in Austin following a leftist shooting—but the charges were dropped.

Independent journalist Tayler Hansen, who has extensively covered left-wing extremism, had long warned about Song.

“He was always armed to the teeth ‘protecting’ all-ages drag shows to prevent me from infiltrating them and exposing the child grooming that was taking place,” Hansen wrote.

“We’ll keep an eye out for you,” Song told Hansen on video during one such event.

Antifa’s Web of Insurgency

Court documents reveal that Song was connected to the Party of Socialism and Liberation, a fringe communist group. One of his accomplices carried an anarchist manifesto titled Organizing for Attack! Insurrectionary Anarchy—a playbook advocating decentralized cells attacking the U.S. government.

It didn’t hide its intentions. The pamphlet explicitly calls for “loosely connected anarchist cells to launch an insurgency against the government,” even encouraging radicals to “store up anger” until it can be “unleashed against authority.”

The group’s decision to strike on the Fourth of July, a day celebrating America’s freedom and founding, wasn’t just symbolic—it was calculated hatred for the nation itself.

Facing Justice—and a Lifetime in Prison

Now, Song faces the full weight of the law. He’s been charged with three counts of attempted murder of federal agents, multiple firearm-related offenses, and organized criminal activity. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Governor Greg Abbott wasn’t subtle in his condemnation, adding a $10,000 bounty to the FBI’s $25,000 reward before Song’s capture.

“The targeted attacks against our federal law enforcement officers is a crime and must end,” Abbott declared. “Criminals such as Benjamin Hanil Song will be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Authorities also arrested John Phillip Thomas and Lynette Read Sharp for aiding Song during his time on the run. Thomas admitted to shuttling him between safe houses to evade capture.

Radical Rhetoric Has Consequences

The bigger picture is undeniable: years of anti-police rhetoric from the Left have stoked a climate where violence against law enforcement is normalized. These weren’t isolated acts. These were the consequences of “defund the police” campaigns, bail funds for rioters, and media figures calling immigration officers “storm troopers.”

When you vilify the people who uphold the law, you embolden those who want to tear it down.

Song’s arrest is more than just a win for law enforcement—it’s a loud, unmissable message to radicals everywhere: America will not tolerate terrorism masquerading as activism.

You shoot at federal agents, you go to prison. Period.
