He followed up with a promise:
“On Tuesday, I’m introducing an amendment to force a vote demanding the FULL Epstein files be released to the public. The Speaker must call a vote & put every Congress member on record.”
And again he challenged the House:
“Will the House allow a vote on Tuesday on the Khanna Amendment demanding the full release of the Epstein files?”
While most Republicans on the committee stuck to the party line, one member defied the pressure.
Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) broke ranks and stood with Democrats, voting in favor of the amendment. Another Republican, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), abstained—making it clear some in the GOP may have serious doubts about keeping this scandal in the shadows.
Still, the amendment failed. And the Epstein files remain sealed.
Here are the Republican members of the House Rules Committee who voted against releasing the Epstein files:
- Virginia Foxx (R-NC)
- Nick Langworthy (R-NY)
- Austin Scott (R-GA)
- Morgan Griffith (R-VA)
- Brian Jack (R-GA)
- Michelle Fischbach (R-MN)
- Erin Houchin (R-IN)
It was these seven votes that blocked the full House from even considering Khanna’s amendment.
Rep. Khanna didn’t mince words in response:
“Rules voted 5-7 to block the full House from voting on my amendment to have a FULL release of the Epstein file. People are fed up. They are fed up. Thanks @RepRalphNorman. Need to put the American people before party!”
Let’s not forget—Jeffrey Epstein wasn’t just some random criminal. He had deep ties to the highest echelons of global power. Former President Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet—known as the Lolita Express—at least 26 times. This wasn’t a one-off coincidence. These were repeated, documented connections.
And yet, despite years of public pressure, we still don’t have the full list of names. We still don’t have access to the flight logs. And we still don’t know who was involved in Epstein’s despicable criminal enterprise.
The same lawmakers who claim to be defenders of “law and order” are now the ones keeping the truth from the American people.
With trust in Washington at an all-time low, this vote is just the latest insult. The public is tired of excuses. Tired of backroom deals. And tired of seeing the elite protected while victims are ignored.
If our elected leaders won’t release the Epstein files, we have to ask the obvious: What are they afraid of? Who are they protecting?
Until the truth is exposed, the stench of cover-up will continue to grow.
And with more and more Americans demanding answers, this story is far from over.
