Secret Service BRAWL at Obama’s House?!

The audio from that call is reportedly circulating internally among agents and officers, and Crabtree posted it alongside her report.

Crabtree further explained, “The woman officer who made the call was upset that her shift replacement was late and assailed her verbally and physically when she finally did arrive to relieve her.”

While no injuries were confirmed, the fact that this incident happened while guarding a former president’s home—and on a recorded line—is deeply troubling. Equally concerning is that the scuffle reportedly didn’t wake anyone inside the Obama residence or in the surrounding neighborhood, highlighting both the lateness of the hour and possibly the agency’s failure to maintain proper discipline during such a sensitive post.

But beyond the fight itself, this bizarre episode has reignited a much larger conversation about the agency’s direction under previous leadership and the consequences of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

“The incident is raising new concerns among fellow Secret Service agents and officers about the agency’s lowering of hiring standards during years of a major DEI push to add more minorities and women to the ranks under previous Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle,” Crabtree added.

Cheatle, who stepped down after the shocking July 13 assassination attempt against Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, was a vocal proponent of hiring more women into the agency. She had committed the agency to the national 30×30 initiative, which aimed to make 30% of law enforcement officers women by 2030. Critics say that in the rush to hit quotas, competence and readiness were sacrificed.

Numerous agents have reportedly questioned whether Trump’s appointed successor, Sean Curran, has reversed course and pulled back on those policies.

“Many sources are quick to say that they know several women agents and officers who are exceptional at their jobs, but stress there are others who lack the skills, physical strength, and professionalism that serving in the Secret Service requires yet remain on the job and are sometimes promoted over more qualified men,” Crabtree wrote.

This isn’t the first scandal involving Secret Service agents under Cheatle’s leadership. As RealClearPolitics previously reported, a female agent at Joint Base Andrews had a mental breakdown, assaulted her supervisor while armed, and had to be restrained and removed from the terminal.

Adding fuel to the fire, social media exploded after the assassination attempt with viral memes showing a visibly overweight female agent struggling to holster her firearm while attempting to evacuate Trump. That same agent was reportedly in charge of the entire visit’s security detail—including the stage area and Trump’s arrival and departure.

The DEI experiment, it seems, may have put lives at risk.

As the agency struggles with low morale and a growing manpower shortage, critics argue that doubling down on ideological hiring initiatives could further erode public trust. Incidents like this brawl, especially when they take place just feet away from a former president’s bedroom, only amplify those concerns.

While the agency has yet to issue a formal statement, one thing is clear: the once-elite image of the U.S. Secret Service continues to be tarnished, and Americans are demanding answers.
