Hollywood’s obsession with artificial intelligence has reached fever pitch, but one of television’s most respected voices is calling for a serious reality check. Kelsey Grammer, best known as the face behind the iconic Dr. Frasier Crane, isn’t just reminiscing about his sitcom days—he’s sounding the alarm on a growing threat that could unravel the fabric of truth in entertainment and beyond.

Deepfakes and Deception: A Dangerous New Reality
Grammer, in a recent Fox News Digital interview, didn’t hold back his unease over AI’s darker uses, especially when it comes to deepfake technology—those hyper-realistic videos that can manipulate reality beyond recognition.
“What I’m a little sad about is our prevalence these days to come up with so many, as they try to say deepfakes,” Grammer told Fox News Digital. “You know, the ones who say it usually are the ones who are actually doing it. It’s a very, very strange game out there.”
These aren’t just harmless tech gimmicks. Deepfakes can forge fake news, destroy reputations, and blur the line between truth and fiction so effectively that most people can’t tell the difference.
