Once again, the New York Times has been caught red-handed—this time, omitting a critical fact in a truly sickening subway crime that shocked New Yorkers last month.
According to details first uncovered by the New York Post, 44-year-old Felix Rojas was arrested after committing a crime so twisted it’s hard to believe: he allegedly robbed and repeatedly raped the corpse of 37-year-old Jorge Gonzalez on a subway train in the late-night hours of April 8.

The full account from prosecutors is stomach-churning. Surveillance footage captured Rojas rifling through Gonzalez’s pockets, appearing to rob him, and then returning to sexually violate his lifeless body. Prosecutors noted that the depraved assault dragged on for more than half an hour.
