America’s children are paying the price for the chaos created under the Biden-Harris administration’s broken border policies. That horrifying truth came to light in Texas after federal agents rescued more than 30 missing children in a stunning operation.
Federal and local law enforcement agencies joined forces in an operation that should shake every parent to their core. Dubbed Operation Lightning Bug, the mission spanned multiple cities across Texas, with its central focus in San Antonio. More than 30 missing juveniles were recovered, trafficking networks were dismantled, and multiple arrests were made.
The U.S. Marshals Service worked alongside the San Antonio Police Department, digging through criminal databases and tracking leads to locate children who had vanished. These weren’t simple runaway cases. These were kids deliberately targeted by predators who know how to exploit fear, poverty, and desperation.
The results were staggering. Authorities made three arrests for harboring runaways, executed nine felony warrants, rescued six sex trafficking survivors, and opened five new trafficking investigations. Over 30 missing juveniles were located.
