A Florida family’s story is drawing attention after an 11-year-old boy’s short trip to go fishing ended with police taking his fingerprint, hauling away his electric dirt bike, and ordering the sixth grader to appear before a judge.
Cade Kirchner wasn’t accused of speeding through town or taking his bike on some lengthy joyride.
According to his family, he was roughly 300 feet from his Oviedo home when police stopped him.
