His campaign is making no secret that minors are included in his vision for expanded gender-transition services — a move that places him directly at odds with where most Americans stand on the issue.
Millions for Gender Procedures
Details of Mamdani’s plan reveal that roughly $57 million would flow toward public hospitals, community clinics, federally qualified health centers, and nonprofits. Another $8 million is earmarked for broader services connected to gender-affirming care.
