Bowman Blames N-Word for Black Health Crisis!

Former New York Congressman Jamaal Bowman, who recently lost his seat in Congress, is grabbing headlines again—this time for an eyebrow-raising claim tying the use of a racial slur to chronic health problems among Black Americans.

Appearing Thursday on CNN, Bowman offered an explanation for why illnesses like cancer, obesity, heart disease, and diabetes are so prevalent in the Black community. According to Bowman, the culprit isn’t diet, lifestyle, or even access to healthcare—it’s the emotional toll of racial insults.

“I’m a black man in America,” Bowman explained.

“The reason why heart disease and cancer and obesity and diabetes are bigger in the black community is because of the stress we carry from having to deal with being called the n-word directly or indirectly every day.”
