According to TMZ, Zachery Ty Bryan, who is best known for playing Tim Allen’s kid on “Home Improvement,” was arrested for DUI on Saturday night after allegedly fleeing the scene.
The actor, who gained notoriety for playing a young Bradley Taylor in eight seasons between 1991 and 1999, was pulled over by police last Saturday at approximately 2:00 a.m. on suspicion of being involved in an earlier collision with a damaged automobile. Bryan was arrested and booked at the La Quinta Sheriff’s Department in California after it was claimed by the authorities that he had indications of impairment.

Given that this was Bryan’s third DUI arrest, his most recent booking carried extra weight. Repeat offenders face more severe penalties under California law. Three to five years on probation, 120 days to one year in jail, $2,500 to $3,000 in penalties, thirty months of DUI school, and a three-year license suspension are the possible consequences of a third conviction.
