According to documents obtained by the New York Times, Nevada Commissioner Edmund J. Gorman Jr. ruled against Murdoch, accusing him of acting in “bad faith.” The ruling described Murdoch’s efforts as a “carefully crafted charade” aimed at ensuring Lachlan’s continued control over the empire, regardless of its broader implications for the family or the business.
