Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s iconic estate in Palm Beach, found itself at the center of yet another security scare Monday night—this time involving a woman who reportedly told Secret Service agents she had firearms in her vehicle and needed to speak with Trump “urgently.”
Authorities say the woman approached the estate’s south gate claiming to carry a critical message for the 45th President of the United States. The suspect, 49-year-old Caroline Shaw, was taken into custody after alerting agents to the weapons in her car.
This disturbing incident adds to a growing list of trespassing attempts and bizarre confrontations involving Trump’s Florida residence—a location that serves both as his home and a bustling private club hosting numerous events and guests.
Law enforcement is taking the matter seriously. Palm Beach police quickly detained Shaw and conducted a full search of her vehicle alongside U.S. Secret Service agents. According to the arrest affidavit, she was booked on two misdemeanor charges: driving with a suspended license and expired registration. There is no word yet on whether additional charges could follow.
