Disney’s woke gamble has backfired — again.
The live-action remake of Snow White is now being remembered for all the wrong reasons. Instead of reviving the magic of the 1937 animated classic, the studio’s reimagined version has become a cautionary tale of what happens when legacy storytelling is sacrificed on the altar of modern ideology.

From the start, this project was plagued by controversy. Rachel Zegler, the actress cast as the iconic princess, quickly became more known for her political grandstanding than her performance. Her outspoken remarks about feminism, Middle East politics, and disdain for the original story alienated fans long before the movie hit theaters.

In one now-infamous interview, Zegler dismissed the essence of the classic tale, saying:
“She’s not going to be saved by the prince, and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love.”
Instead, Zegler claimed the new version would reflect a woman who’s focused on becoming a “leader.”
“I just mean that it’s no longer 1937,” she declared.
