“I was disappointed,” Trump said, referring to Musk’s comments. “I don’t know if we’ll have a great relationship anymore.”
Then Trump dropped the eyebrow-raising detail that Musk had a visible black eye at the time—and refused to cover it up with makeup.
“I said, you want a little makeup? We’ll get you a little makeup. But he said, ‘No, I don’t think so,’ which is interesting and very nice. He wants to be who he is.”
Officially, Musk told reporters that the black eye came from his young son, X, who allegedly punched him in the face. But few believe that story holds water.
Now enter Bet-David, who hinted the real story could be much darker.
“That black eye, you know, was it a fight that took place? Somebody swung and it really offended Elon— he’s like, look what I’m gonna do to you guys.”

While careful to use words like “allegedly,” Bet-David speculated that some kind of internal clash may have erupted during Musk’s final days working in the government. Could a high-stakes meeting have turned into a physical altercation?
“Maybe it was a meeting where they’re calling each other out, and somebody just— because Elon started calling out Trump, and it got nasty, and then somebody swung, and then somebody was a peacemaker bringing it in.”
At the time, the White House portrayed Musk’s exit as amicable. Trump even held a joint press conference with him to mark the end of his tenure. But later, the former President admitted there had been internal friction and that he had asked Musk to step down.
What’s more, since leaving the administration, Musk has gone scorched earth. He’s accused Trump of being incapable of winning 2024 without him, called for his impeachment, and even floated wild accusations about Trump’s alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
If Bet-David’s theory is anywhere near the truth, it could explain Musk’s erratic behavior and public betrayals.
“I’m not speculating. Remember, the keyword is, allegedly,” Bet-David reiterated.
For now, the real source of the mysterious black eye remains unsolved—but the whispers keep growing louder.
And as political tensions rise between Musk and Trump, one thing is clear: there’s far more going on behind the scenes than either side is willing to admit.
