After reviewing the findings, physicians concluded that the president remains healthy and fully capable of carrying out the intense workload associated with the nation’s highest office.
One area that drew attention was Trump’s weight.
According to the report, the president currently weighs 238 pounds, roughly 14 pounds heavier than during his previous physical examination in 2025.
Doctors noted the increase and provided recommendations involving nutrition, exercise, and weight management. However, they emphasized that the weight gain does not appear to be creating any significant health concerns at this time.
Standing 6-foot-3, Trump’s body mass index registered at 29.7, placing him just below the medical threshold generally used to classify obesity.
Despite that figure, physicians pointed to several indicators suggesting the president remains physically active and capable of handling a demanding schedule that includes travel, public appearances, meetings, and other daily obligations.
The report also addressed visible bruising that has occasionally appeared on Trump’s hands during public appearances.
Doctors attributed the marks to routine irritation caused by frequent handshaking combined with aspirin use.
The physician described it as “minor soft tissue irritation related to frequent handshaking” and noted that it was “a common and benign effect of aspirin therapy.”
Medical staff also recommended transitioning to a low-dose aspirin regimen moving forward.
The report further revisited a condition disclosed by the White House last year involving chronic venous insufficiency, an age-related circulatory issue that can lead to swelling in the legs.
According to Barbabella, Trump still experiences mild swelling in his lower legs. However, physicians reported that the condition has improved compared to previous examinations and does not currently present any major concerns.
Outside of that issue, the evaluation reportedly found no significant abnormalities.
Doctors highlighted strong cardiovascular function, healthy lung performance, and normal neurological findings throughout the examination.
Barbabella also pointed to Trump’s active daily routine as a positive factor supporting his overall well-being.
“His demanding daily schedule, including multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, continues to support his overall well-being,” Barbabella wrote.
Perhaps the most closely watched portion of the report involved cognitive testing.
Trump once again completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, commonly known as the MoCA test, which is widely used to evaluate memory, attention, language, and other cognitive functions.
According to the report, Trump earned a perfect score of 30 out of 30.
The result matches the scores he previously received during examinations conducted in both 2018 and 2025.
The consistency of those results is likely to receive significant attention given the intense scrutiny surrounding presidential fitness in recent years.
Another notable development involved Trump’s cholesterol numbers.
Doctors reported substantial improvement compared to earlier examinations.
His total cholesterol level measured 143, a dramatic decline from the 223 reading recorded several years ago.
Physicians credited the improvement to medications including rosuvastatin and ezetimibe, which are commonly used to lower harmful cholesterol levels and improve cardiovascular health.
The release marks the fourth major health update made public since Trump returned to the White House for his second term.
The timing is significant as the administration enters an important political period ahead of upcoming midterm elections, where issues surrounding leadership, age, and fitness are expected to remain major topics of debate.
Presidential health disclosures have historically been handled differently by every administration. While there is no legal requirement forcing presidents to release detailed medical information, voters have long viewed health reports as an important measure of transparency.
The contrast between Trump and his predecessor is likely to fuel additional political discussion.
Trump, who will celebrate his 80th birthday next month, was the oldest individual ever elected president at the time of his election.
Former President Joe Biden left office at age 82 after abandoning his 2024 reelection campaign amid growing concerns about his physical and cognitive condition.
Those concerns intensified after Biden’s widely criticized debate performance against Trump, a moment many Americans viewed as a turning point in the election cycle.
Now, with a fresh medical report showing strong physical indicators and a perfect cognitive score, the White House is making its case that President Trump remains ready for the job and fully capable of serving the American people.
