Rep. Ilhan Omar is facing a new round of scrutiny after House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer claimed the Justice Department is looking beyond the Minnesota Democrat and examining members of her family.
The Kentucky Republican made the explosive assertion during an appearance on Benny Johnson’s show Wednesday, where he discussed questions surrounding Omar’s financial disclosures, her husband’s business interests, and the massive fraud scandal that rocked Minnesota.
According to Comer, the investigation is considerably broader than previously understood.
