The Biden administration is under fire for what critics are calling a deliberate attempt to downplay unauthorized drone activity over sensitive military installations in New Jersey. Despite confirmed reports from two military bases, the White House insists there is “no evidence” of drone incursions—a claim that has left lawmakers and military insiders fuming.

National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby addressed the issue during a Thursday press briefing, where he dismissed reports of unauthorized drone flights as misidentified helicopters or airplanes. Kirby stated, “We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or a public safety threat, or have a foreign nexus.”

While Kirby’s comments were meant to reassure the public, they directly contradict information coming from military officials at Picatinny Arsenal and Naval Weapons Station Earle, both of which have reported confirmed breaches. Picatinny Arsenal alone cited at least 11 incidents, while Naval Weapons Station Earle confirmed two.
