Trump Drops a Political Bombshell
After watching the video, Trump delivered an assessment that sent Democrats scrambling.
“The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense,” Trump stated.
He further revealed that the ICE officer was seriously injured but survived.
“The President revealed the ICE agent is alive and recovering in the hospital after getting run over.”
“Based on the attached clip, it’s hard to believe he is alive,” Trump added.
Local Democrats Lash Out at Federal Agents
Before Trump even weighed in, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey held an explosive press conference, angrily rejecting claims that the agent acted in self-defense.
“Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everybody directly that is bulls***,” Frey declared.
He then escalated the rhetoric further.
“Get the f*** out of Minneapolis,” Frey said. “We do not want you here.”
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz echoed the attack, posting on X: “I’ve seen the video. Don’t believe this propaganda machine.”
DHS Pushes Back With Stark Warning
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem forcefully defended the officers involved, describing the incident in chilling detail.
“Our ICE officers were out in enforcement action, they got stuck in the snow because of the adverse weather that is in Minneapolis,” Noem explained. “They were attempting to push out their vehicle and a woman attacked them and those surrounding them, and attempted to run them over and rammed them with her vehicle.”
“An officer of ours acted quickly and defensively shot to protect himself and the people around him,” Noem stated.
Noem went even further, labeling the attack “an act of domestic terrorism.”
Why These Confrontations Keep Happening
Trump says the Minneapolis shooting is not an isolated incident but the predictable result of years of anti-law-enforcement rhetoric from the radical left.
“The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis,” Trump wrote.
“They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE,” he added. “We need to stand by and protect our Law Enforcement Officers from this Radical Left Movement of Violence and Hate!”
Minnesota in Full Panic Mode
The shooting occurred amid what DHS describes as the largest immigration enforcement operation in American history, involving more than 2,000 ICE agents and Border Patrol officers deployed across the Twin Cities.
Noem confirmed that “hundreds and hundreds” of arrests have already been made.
Trump has also placed Minnesota under intense scrutiny following allegations of massive welfare fraud tied to Somali-run childcare centers. Billions in federal childcare funding have been frozen pending investigation, sending state Democrats into full-blown panic.
Frey has since signed an executive order blocking ICE from using city-owned property. Representative Ilhan Omar declared, “ICE must stop terrorizing our communities and leave our city.”
Walz even ordered the Minnesota National Guard to prepare for potential deployment, while urging activists to stay calm.
“They want a show. We can’t give it to them,” Walz pleaded. “If you protest and express your First Amendment rights, please do so peacefully.”
What Minneapolis Leaders Don’t Want Seen
Despite claims from city officials that the woman was merely an “observer,” Trump says the video tells a far different story. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara insisted she was not a target of the operation, while city council member Jason Chavez described her as “watching out for our immigrant neighbors.”
Trump rejected that narrative outright.
He says Americans are witnessing trained activists intentionally interfering with federal law enforcement, then being shielded by Democrat politicians when violence erupts.
Federal and state investigators, including the FBI and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, are reviewing the case. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty has signaled her office could pursue charges.
For Trump and his supporters, the larger issue is clear.
Democrats don’t want Americans seeing what happens when ICE enforces the law.
They don’t want video evidence contradicting their talking points.
And they certainly don’t want a president willing to call out professional agitators by name.
Trump, once again, made it clear where he stands: with law enforcement, not the radical activists trying to stop them.

Get rid of all the professional and armature agitators right now because I said so. And that’s the bottom line.
