The well-known “Gucci Gang” rapper Lil Pump was seen on camera at an Ole Miss party leading a fervent “we love Trump” chant.
Before the 2020 election, Lil Pump already endorsed Trump at a rally. “Mr. President, I’ve come here to say Mr. President, I appreciate everything you’ve done for our country,” Pump said. “You brought the troops home and you are doing the right thing. MAGA 2020! Do not vote for Sleepy Joe at all!”
Pump is still committed to supporting Trump as the 2020 election draws near.
Numerous hip-hop legends have come out in support of the former president in his bid to retake the White House. Most recently, Waka Flocka Flame added his name to the long list of musicians that support him.
Hip-hop artist Sexyy Red recently endorsed President Trump in a podcast, praising his work on criminal justice reform and the Covid-19 relief funding for Black Americans. Her declaration of support is notable because it comes just one week after another well-known hip-hop musician expressed support for the President.
“We need him back, ‘cause them checks? Oooh, yeah, them stimulus checks,” Sexyy Red said. “Trump, we miss you.”
Influential individuals including Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Benny The Butcher, Kodak Black, and many others have endorsed Trump.
Surprisingly, rapper YG, well known for the divisive song “F** Donald Trump,” has acknowledged the rise of Donald Trump among Black Americans. YG speculated that more black people identify with Trump’s cultural connections when discussing his finding on a podcast.
