Vivek’s Startling Claim: System Orchestrates Haley-DeSantis Move!

A recent video that went viral on social media has Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy making the bold prediction that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will soon appoint former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley as her running partner for vice president.

In the video, Ramaswamy is shown fervently endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy over that of his opponent seeking the Republican nominee in 2024. Surprisingly, he asserts that DeSantis will have no influence over this conclusion and feels that “the system” will guarantee it.

He stated, “Here’s the plot,” in the X post that went with the video. “1. Narrow this to a 2-horse race between Trump & a puppet they can control. 2. Eliminate Trump. 3. Trot their puppet into the White House.

“Prediction: next up, Ron DeSantis joins Nikki Haley’s ticket as VP. Ron may not know it yet, but he won’t have a say in the matter,” he added.

In the essay and the video, Ramaswamy did not go into detail on how DeSantis would be practically coerced into being Haley’s running mate beyond stating that “that’s what his donors are going to make him do.”

“The system wants to narrow this down to a two-horse race between Donald Trump and a puppet who they can control,” said in the video, failing to specify who or what he meant when he referred to “the system.”

“And it has become increasing clear that that puppet is not a Democrat; it’s not even [Democratic California Gov.] Gavin Newsom,” he said. “It’s Nikki Haley. It’s in our own party.”

Subsequently, Ramaswamy asserted that the withdrawal of former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie from the presidential race was “one more step in that plot,” as though it were extraordinary for a candidate who was never able to garner more than 3.5 percent in the national polls averaged by RealClearPolitics to give up on a race he was never going to win.

After falling from a record rating of 8.1 percent in September, Ramaswamy has steadily maintained an average rating of 4.0 to 4.3 percent since December 20. But as of right now, he hasn’t indicated that he plans to drop out of the race.

Reminiscent of Carly Fiorina’s 2016 campaign tactics, DeSantis is expected to join Haley’s ticket for the presidential primary in an unexpected move. At the time, such a move was seen unorthodox.

“The whole game, it’s hiding in plain sight,” Again, he made this assertion without providing an explanation of who was “hiding” anything or why anticipated campaign machinations would need to be kept a secret in the first place.

“Whatever it takes,” He went on, albeit once more, he had just been making reference to standard campaign maneuvers. “The system will stop at nothing, and I mean nothing, to eliminate Donald Trump from contention. It’s disgusting.”

He reiterated his explanation, saying that DeSantis’ donors would compel him to accept the position as Haley’s running partner (though he kept calling him “VP” when he meant running mate). “It’s not really his choice,” he asserted.

“We have to open our eyes and not fall into their trap,” He stated as much before making a previous forecast that Trump will not truly be the Republican nominee in 2024.

“Our America First agenda cannot end, our movement cannot end, with Donald Trump when they take him out from contention,” he said. “And if you think the system is going to even let this man get anywhere near the White House, we need to open our eyes.”

“They are selling us the rope today that they are going to use to hang us tomorrow,” he claimed. “Do not fall into the trap, people. And that’s why I’m here.”

Contrary to common perception from X users, Ramaswamy’s rationale was not well welcomed. A user even brought up the fact that Ramaswamy had suggested Christie drop out of the contest, something Ramaswamy now believes was a calculated plot.

Some responses described Ramaswamy as a liar and said he sounded “desperate.” Others asserted that Haley was more likely to support Trump as a running mate than she was to support DeSantis.

Given how much support Ramaswamy seemed to be providing the former president, even some of his followers were obviously offended by his forecast that Trump can’t “get close to” the White House.
